California State University, Fresno

Fresno State University, located less than a mile from University Square Hotel, serves the richly diverse region of Central California. A complete spectrum of education is represented on campus. In addition, the campus community treasures scholarship and creative thinking. Fresno State operates the first commercially bonded winery on any US university campus, where student-produced wines have won hundreds of noteworthy awards.

The Big Fresno Fair – nine miles

The Big Fresno Fair is the largest annual event in the Central Valley, attracting more than 600,000 people each October. During its two-week run, you’ll enjoy exhibits, a livestock show, live horse racing and much more.

Fresno State University Men’s and Women’s Basketball – Save Mart Center

The Save Mart Center is recognized as one of the finest on-campus college arenas. In fact, it was recently named the number two top college venue by Pollster, the leading trade publication for the concert and entertainment industry.

Fresno State University Football – Bulldog Stadium

September – November, 2018
Bulldog Stadium has been the home of the Fresno State University Bulldogs since it opened in 1980. Fresno State University enjoys of history of attracting some of the nation’s top teams.
 

Fresno Grizzlies AAA Baseball

April – August, 2019
Chukchansi Park has been the home of the Fresno Grizzlies since its gates first opened in May of 2002. A gem in the heart of downtown Fresno, the ballpark has served as a home base for 72 games every spring. Playing at the highest level of minor league baseball, over 300 Triple-A players farm grown in Fresno have moved on to play for major league teams nationwide.

Fresno boasts a wealth of excellent golf courses for all levels of players. This prominent list includes Airways Public Golf Course, Fig Garden Golf Club, Hank’s Swank Par 3 and Driving Range, River Park Golf Center and Riverside Golf Course.
